Don’t have a coronary . . .

That’s what my husband’s cardiologist said before he told him he has coronary disease.  Funny guys, those cardiologists.

So began 2009.  My thin 38 year old husband has heart disease.  He’s had type-1 diabetes for 25 years, and we are finally seeing some not-so-pleasant results of its wear-and-tear on his body.

After my husband didn’t last for 10 minutes on the treadmill at today’s stress test, the cardiologist scheduled a heart catheterization for Friday.  And today, the cardiologist didn’t crack any jokes; he was as serious as a heart attack.  🙂

If you think of us, please pray for us.  This has caught us quite by surprise.

  5. I am catching up on my blogs… by the time I read this your husband’s catheterization will be finished. You will likely have the results in hand. Praying for wisdom for the physician staff and a peace that passes understanding for you both.
