Thanksgiving

It’s been a busy few days with travel and visiting and eating. In the spirit of the holiday, I want to add a few things of my own to the Thankful list.

I’m thankful for —

• highway patrol officers to help keep us safe

• the exact vehicle God provided for our family

• multi-generational gatherings

• crayons and paper

• Aunt Barbara’s Rice Krispie chewie treats with choco-butterscotch icing

• Catch-Phrase

• gazebos (in which children can sing “I am Sixteen Going On Seventeen”)

• video i-Chat

• other people shopping after-Thanksgiving Day sales for you

• lost teeth

• hot showers

• laughing

• beautiful fall days

• warm blankets

• sausage balls

• baby’s smiles

• sleepy toddlers who snuggle in your lap

• Color Wonder markers

• little girls in dress-up clothes
